Maneuvering Target Tracking of Bearings-only Interval Measurement

Abstract

Aiming at maneuvering target tracking of bearings-only interval measurement, a new interacting multiple model box particle filter (IMMBPF) algorithm is proposed in this paper. The interacting multiple model algorithm is used to estimate the state of each box particle. Multi-sensor cross location is used to construct the inclusion function for the analysis of nonlinear angle measurement interval. In the update stage of the filter, the quadratic contraction algorithm is put forward to increase the interval of innovation and the survival probability of the box particle, so as to improve the diversity of the box particle and the performance of target state estimation. The complexity of the algorithm is theoretically deduced and analyzed by using the measure of equivalent float operation. The target tracking performance of IMMBPF algorithm, interacting multiple model particle filter (IMMPF) algorithm and constant velocity motion model box particle filter (CV-BPF) algorithm is compared by simulation experiments. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
