Abstract

The LOCA test is a standardized test process that simulates the sudden loss of coolant during operation of nuclear power equipment, causing a sudden increase in temperature in the warehouse, and tests the performance of cables, sensors and other equipment used in nuclear power plants. In order to solve the technical problems of temperature control of high-temperature steam flowing into the LOCA test chamber, which has nonlinearity, large hysteresis, and time variability, Fluent software is used to simulate the temperature changes and steam flow fields in the LOCA test chamber, and MATLAB simulation was used to compare fuzzy expert PID and classic PID difference. Using DBA qualification curves CPR1000 and AP1000 as standards, transient thermal shock tests, spray cooling tests and temperature balance tests are conducted on site. Simulation and field test results show that the temperature control system using fuzzy expert PID joint control has faster response speed, higher robustness, and smaller overshoot than the classic PID control. The error is controlled at ±5°C, which is in line with the DBA curve temperature control. Control requirements can meet the automated testing needs of the LOCA temperature control system.
